Chief Engineer for Conventional Field Instrumentation

Role description

As a CFI chief engineer, you will have the technical responsibility for all the CFI systems on-site.

You will be a part of the project management and will oversee the correct delivery of the product; from Design to commissioning and acceptance.

You’ll be in charge of the planning of measuring devices with the industry-specific requirements and further integration to the overall control technology concept.

Responsibilities
  • All engineering activities of the CFI measuring points (including engineering process and resources available) are within your main responsibilities.
  • Interface with customer and technical authorities, representing the selected solution approaches.
  • Defining the workflow and processes in the project; and monitoring every phase of it.
  • Maintaining a fluent communication with the team of engineers; and with the project management regarding changes in technical matters, times and commercial implications.
  • Conceptual definition of selection rules for measuring devices according to requirements
  • Running the calculations for costs, material, workload, and time required in the project, and preparing the documentation structure.
  • Supervise the training structure for the team.
  • Implement quality controls for all systems and products, and acceptance of these by sub-suppliers
  • Minding all the data available, generate reports for review.
